Ieri, 22 giugno 2006, il \u201csecondo\u201d e \u201cil teorico\u201d di al-Qaeda, Al-Zawahiri, ricompare nella
\nrete con un video di circa 3 minuti. L\u2019iconografia \u00e8 quella usuale: discorso diretto in
\ncamera, dito alzato a minaccia e incitamento per sottolineare i punti chiave, fucile
\nautomatico appoggiato alla sua destra, copricapo bianco e veste grigia (elegante e
\nordinata). Lo sfondo scuro non \u00e8 riconoscibile. La firma \u00e8 quella conosciuta di uno dei
\ncircuiti mediatici jihadisti: As-Sahab.<\/p>\n
\nAnche il discorso (di seguito a queste note nella traduzione inglese), non tradisce
\nparticolari novit\u00e0 in avvio e chiusura, tuttavia mi limito a sottolineare:
\n\u2022 il contesto di questa comunicazione \u00e8, a mio parere, ben collocato nel processo di
\nuscita dall\u2019Iraq anche conseguente (ma non causata da) la morte di Zarqawi.
\nL\u2019Afghanistan ritorna a essere prioritario per la sopravvivenza del jihadismo, perch\u00e9
\nluogo possibile di sua radicazione, stabilizzazione ed esportazione. Al contrario di
\nun Iraq incontrollabile.
\n\u2022 L\u2019appello \u00e8 rivolto in particolare ai fratelli di Kabul, e tra questi si sottolinea il ruolo
\nche possono avere i giovani studenti. Dunque un invito alla lotta mirato, non solo
\nsul piano territoriale ma anche identificando un target movimentista ben preciso,
\nanche se non \u201cinnovativo\u201d.
\n\u2022 Le citazioni utilizzate, oltre a mobilitare in difesa e per l\u2019Islam contro gli infedeli,
\nindirizzano a uno sforzo coordinato e unito. Questo aspetto che si ritrova nelle
\ncitazione del discorso \u201cAllah the Exalted says: \u2018Lo! Allah loveth those who battle for
\nhis cause in ranks, as if they were a solid structure.\u2019(as-Saff. 61:4)\u201d, sembra
\nsottolineare il diverso atteggiamento strategico di al-Qaeda nella guerra locale in
\nAfghanistan rispetto alle azioni di terrorismo di esportazione. In quest\u2019ultimo caso,
\nforse ancora, il modello \u201ca cellula\u201d \u00e8 tollerato e utilizzato. Ma nel primo caso l\u2019invito
\n\u00e8 a serrare i ranghi intorno a un centro di comando che necessariamente si deve
\nproporre.
\nNel complesso, dunque, quanto sostenevo a seguito della morte di Zarqawi (vedi in Itstime \u00a08\/6\/2006) mi sembra trovi un seguito in questo comunicato, dove l\u2019Afghanistan assume oggi il luogo cruciale per la guerra al terrorismo. L\u2019ultimo incitamento simile ebbe come\u00a0risultato un attacco alle truppe italiane con conseguenti vittime.
\nDi nuovo ci troviamo ad aspettare.
\nUn\u2019attesa anche sul piano mediatico, perch\u00e9 voci insistenti comparse sui forum jihadisti
\nparlano di una prossima produzione dell\u2019al-Qaeda afgana dedicata alla memoria di
\nZarqawi, in cui ci si aspetta un ruolo significativo per il \u201cnostro\u201d al-Zawahiri.<\/p>\n

I appeal to Muslims in Kabul in particular and throughout Afghanistan in general, for the sake of Allah, to sincerely stand against the infidels\u2019 forces, which are invading Muslims\u2019 lands. These forces filled Kabul\u2019s sky <\/em>with their flags of every colour and shape. I appeal to Muslims in Kabul in particular and throughout Afghanistan in general, to defend Islam. I also appeal to them to glorify the great Qu\u2019ran and love the noble Prophet, Allah\u2019s peace and blessing be upon him. <\/em>I urge them to demonstrate chivalry, gallantry and pride. \u00a0I urge them to demonstrate the Afghan people\u2019s zeal and dignity, and thei rejection to injustice. I laso urge them to remember the history of their fathers in resisting the invaders. I urge them to do that and to resist this infidel, oppressive and unjust occupation of Muslims\u2019lands. I appeal to the young people of Islam at schools and universities in Kabul to carry out their religious duty in defence of their religion, honour, sanctities and homeland. Fellow Muslims in Kabul, Allah the Exalted says: \u201cand the Jews will not be pleased with thee, nor will the <\/em>Christians, till thou follow their creed\u201d (al-Baqarah 2:120). He says the truth himself: and they will not cease from fighting against you till they have made you renegades from your religion, if they can.\u201d (al-Baqarah 2:217). Do not trust those infidel invaders or their reacherous agents, who want to turn you into humiliated and\u00a0enslaved people in order to achieve their ambitions and gains. My Muslims brothers in Kabul in particular and throughout Afghanistan in general: stand by the mujahideen until the invading forces are expelled, Muslim Afghanistan is liberated, the glorious Sharia is implemented, and sanctities are preserved and until security and justuce prevail.
